My work is varried. Counselling Team Manager with a leading Employer Assistance Provider as well as a Bereavement Counsellor for Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland, working within the Scottish Prison Service. I have also worked with Primary School children at the Place2Be.
Prior to becoming a counsellor I worked within the Financial Service Sector and Horticultural Industry.
My clients have experienced a broad range of different and complex issues. These have included depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, problems with self-esteem, coming to terms with bereavement and loss, spirituality, coping with life style changes, suicidal feelings, sexuality and work related problems.
Qualifications
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Strathclyde.

As a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I'm bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure.

I am a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
I also hold Professional Liability Insurance.
